Watanabe is a major figure in Japan and has played with many jazz musicians from the west over the years. A small correction - he's the saxophonist rather than the guitarist on the track. Look forward to being back on the show this week - and will include as promised the beautiful track The Moon is a Harsh Mistress from the Haden/Metheny album.
